FORUM OF 27 IMO PDP LG CHAIRMEN
To whom it may concern:
The Imo PDP chairmen of the 27 Local Government Areas (LGAs) in the state, after their emergency meeting to review the sorry state of the party and the need to rescue the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) from the impending collapse into political oblivion and the lack of a Central Coordination of the party following the exit of critical stakeholders, resolved to appoint the highest elected public office holder still in the PDP and the House of Representatives member for Ideato North and South Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere as the overall State Leader of the Party, to lead the reorganization, restructuring and reconciliation that will help to rebuild, reform and reclaim Imo PDP from the brinks of extinction and lead to the resolution of the crisis that have hit the party in all the 27 LGAs in Imo, where desperate attempts were made to impose pro-APC (All Progressive Congress) loyalists as officers of the party.
The Forum also salutes the efforts of Hon. Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere in leading the charge to cleanse the PDP of political traitors, brigands and men who consider public trust as an item of merchandise for personal profit, led by such transactional elements like the Acting National Chairman and Natuonal Secretary, Umar Damagum and Samuel Anyanwu respectively, who have become shameless political agents of APC, having sold their conscience to Mammon, and are now working to ensure the destruction of PDP ahead of 2027 general election.
In the same vein, we earnestly pray for the success of the battle to ease Damagum, Anyanwu and their co-travellers out of the PDP within the shortest possible time.
